There’s some incredible spas in the area. Some with terrific mountain views, others with treatment menus leaving you totally spoilt for choice, and all with one thing in mind – your complete relaxation.

We’ve included a few ideas for you here, ranging from small salons for private treatments, spas close by and worth travelling to, and a selection of people who will come to you at Chalet Morzine.

The Beauty Spot, Morzine

Kerri, who’s story we have featured in our blog post about being a beauty therapist in Morzine, offers a fully equipped salon a 5 minute walk from Chalet Morzine. She is the bubbliest, friendliest beauty therapist you will meet – we challenge you to go to her and not come back with a smile on your face.

Morzine Massage, Morzine

A mobile massage service offering sports, relaxation, deep tissue, reflexology and hot stone massage. Bev, who is the founder and owner of Morzine massage, has massaged for the Olympic rowing team and has exacting standards for her team. The big advantage is that if there are more than two of you, you can book the whole team to come to the chalet.

Mountain Rehab, Morzine

If the mountains have taken their toll on your body, Mountain Rehab can help. We can provide assessment and treatment from expert Physiotherapists in one of our 4 treatment rooms.

Whether you are on holiday or living locally, Mountain Rehab therapists can provide you with a fantastic massage in Morzine, at the treatment rooms or, if you prefer, we will come to your holiday accommodation.

Their Morzine Gym is full of top quality equipment and is just a 10 minute walk from the chalet, with personal training also available.

If you’d like to take a Yoga class or practice Pilates in Morzine, Mountain Rehab offers classes for all ranges of ability.  We also have a great a great range of fitness classes on offer in the studio.

Martha Perry Massage Therapy, Morzine

Martha Perry runs a mobile massage therapy service and gets rave reviews from her clients. A trail runner, skier and general outdoor enthusiast, Martha’s got great knowledge of how the body works and everything is interconnected, so if you’ve any niggles or pains from your active holiday, she will get to them!

Little Wild, Morzine

Benefit from a completely private, one on one treatment area with Carrie who runs Little Wild Space, or Laurie who works with her. You can’t help but feel totally relaxed and at ease in either of their company, and the treatment menu, which includes holistic massage, skincare and energy therapies is just fabulous. Little Wild is a 10 minute drive from Chalet Morzine, or if there is a few of you for massage Laurie can come to you.

Sources du Chèry, Les Gets

A local favourite and easy to get to from the Chalet, you can book into this beautiful spa for just a couple of hours, and up to a whole day. So if some of your group wants to ski or bike all week and some of you don’t, this is a perfect solution to keep everyone happy. Still relatively new, the quality of the experience at the Spa is nothing less than outstanding. From sensory showers, to salt and steam rooms, a relaxation pool, swan necks, water blades, a main pool and saunas, there is something to suit you whether you are looking for relaxation, recovery, or re-energising.

Les Bains de Lavey, Lavey les Bains

A day trip from Morzine, for either a full day or a half day session starting at 30 CHF. The facilities are extensive, the outdoor areas have terrific views, and the drive from Morzine takes you along the shore of Lake Geneva. It would be a great place to head as a couple, with its super romantic setting. The indoor and outdoor pools of more than 1,600m2 are equipped with neck showers, pressure jets, stand-up and sit-down whirlpools, mushroom shower and water cascades, an underwater massage path and an underwater massage lounge chair. There is an ‘oriental area’ that incorporates hammam and Turkish baths (40-50 degrees), Swiss showers, heated marble seats and various massage treatments. The North Pavilion area includes saunas, plunge pool, cold water showers, snow and ice grotto and a relaxation area under ultraviolet light with aromatherapy and music.

QC Therme, Chamonix

The location and views at QC Terme are simply unbeatable. At just over an hours drive from Morzine, we think this is worth going if there is a group of you wanting a day spa. If it’s anyone’s birthday they get free entry, and if you are there for the day you get an afternoon tea and some bubbly included in the price. It’s a bit more ‘luxe’ than Lavey les Bains (baring in mind the scale as Lavey is still pretty lush!), with more room for relaxation. Our favourite is the cocoon room where you can sit in your own hanging chair and stare out at Mont Blanc. Bliss.
