Morzine acts as a great base from which to explore the stunning French Alps by road bike or e-Bike. As well as some iconic and challenging climbs, the well earned sweeping descents are among absolutely stunning back-drops.

Tackle Famous Tour de France Cols straight from the chalet door
The tour has been to Morzine more than 20 times, and in recent years has been the finish for the étape du tour, where amateurs take on a stage of the tour amongst all the same excitement that the pros will get the following week. It’s an incredible event, not least because of the organisation of it all, but we are lucky enough to have been able to cycle alongside the likes of Peter Sagan and Geraint Thomas right in town! There’s more than the Tour too, the Critérium du Dauphiné finished in Les Gets in 2021.

Discover local villages
The surrounding valleys and villages are just beautiful. Listen to the infamous cow bells and bird watch as you cycle around the stunning Vallée Verte with views of Lac Léman beyond, or head through the Valley du Haut Giffre where you will find the beautiful town of Samöens, Sixt-fer-à-Cheval and the lovely meadows leading up to them before heading back via a back road towards Les Gets and Morzine.
