Take to the water with Frogs Rafting
White Water Rafting
Negotiate rapids and small waterfalls in an inflatable raft. Guide assisted, you can choose from gentle meandering to a route which guarantees an adrenaline rush! The kids can come too as long as they are older than 6.
Airboating & Canorafting
Either 1 or 2 people in a boat that looks like a small raft: you’ve got the control! Before you start, you’ll learn about ‘reading the river’, understanding currents & rocks, and judging the depth & direction of flow. This trip is ideal for people who’ve been rafting already or have done some kayaking & want to learn new skills or hone existing ones. Minimum age is 12 & your guide is with you all the way.
Hydrospeeding
Also known as white-water sledges, hydrospeeds are chunky bits of floaty foam shaped so you can fit the top of your body snugly into them, hold on tight & negotiate the river, getting a frog’s eye view! After a lesson in how to steer, stop & read the river, you will follow your guide down the river learning about duck-diving & surfing, rolling & spinning! This is as close as you can get to the river & you will learn about dealing with the currents & manoeuvring yourself (& your sledge) around obstacles.
Take to the air
Parapenting
A really popular activity in the French Alps. The flights are tandem with a qualified instructor for just simply spectacular views of the Alps. If you prefer a more thrilling flight, your instructor can demonstrate stalls and basic acrobatics. The minimum age is 6.
Fantasticable
A ride between two mountains. You’ll ‘fly’ at nearly 70 mph in perfect safety, attached to a cable and comfortably settled into a harness. It takes place in Chatel over the Plaine Dranse valley, and the Fantasticable is the only ride of its kind in the world. An unbelievable sensation – full exhilaration guaranteed.
High ropes adventure
There are two high ropes adventure courses in the Dereches Park in Morzine and at Nyon Waterfall. From child circuits for 2-year-olds up to very hard, exhilarating red and black high rope circuits and zip wires for adults.

Mountain biking
With some of the world’s most stunning downhill for your mountain biking holiday, Morzine is unmissable. The trails challenge even the most experienced downhillers – starting at the top with phenomenal Alpine panoramas, they quickly descend into tight, berm-ridden trails. For the cross-country hound, fast rooty forest sections, technical rocky switch-backs, fast-flowing single track and exposed high Alpine routes are all there for you to explore.
Via Ferrata
You’ll navigate rock faces and cliffs with minimal equipment and an instructor to guide and accompany you, whether you’re a beginner or not. Awaken your inner adventurer and come and explore the area in a different way, above the void!
