When you book to stay at Chalet Morzine you get access to a comprehensive digital guestbook with everything you need to book transfers, childcare, caterers, find the chalet, work the heating and more. But in the meantime, here are some answers to our most common FAQs.

Questions & Answers

Does the chalet have WiFi?

Yes. We have ADSL broadband available with boosters and it is free to use.

What’s included in the price?

The full chalet, for the dates that you book. Use of the hot tub, washing machine, and tumble dryer is included, as are white fluffy towels, bathrobes and Egyptian Cotton bed linen for all beds. All holiday taxes and utilities are included in the booking price. 

What is not included in the price?

Flights, transfers (we can help you to arrange these though), catering (we can help you find a chef), childcare, passes for the lifts, ski or bike hire, travel insurance. 

What time is check-in?

16:00 local time in Morzine. If you arrive early you can leave your bags and go and enjoy Morzine.

What time is check-out?

10:00 a.m. local time in Morzine. You can leave bags if your planned departure time is later than that.

Are there hairdryers?

Yes, in all the bedrooms.

Where do we store skis? Bikes? Hiking Gear?

There is a large secure garage in which to store all your sports equipment. If you are renting skis in town then often you can leave your kit there overnight too in the winter.

Is there a drying room?

Yes. We have a dedicated drying room for your snow / riding / hiking gear.

Which is the nearest airport?

Geneva is just over an hour from Morzine, depending on traffic. EasyJet flies regularly, as does British Airway and Swiss Air from the UK.

What should we do about transfers? Caterers? Childcare? Lessons? Ski hire?

As our guests, we give you access to our tour operator discount-priced transfers, and this is our recommended mode of transport from the airport to get you here safely. To take advantage of this, you just complete a booking form with us and then pay in cash locally when you arrive.  For childcare, lessons, ski hire etc you have lots of choice in town. In our digital guest book we give you our recommended partners to choose and how to get in touch with them.

What is there for infants?

We have most essential items you will need such as travel cots with thick mattresses, linen, and sterilisers. We also have lots of other equipment in the kitchen for feeding, if you need anything in particular let us know and we will check if we have it.

What should I pack for the kids to wear skiing?

How big are the rooms?

Chalet Morzine is spacious. Take a look at the gallery and the room descriptions to get a feel for the space.

What if I don’t ski?

We have dedicated a page and a blog post to give you ideas of things to keep yourself entertained if you don’t want to ski.
