Chalet Morzine is self-catered, but if you want a fully catered chalet experience that’s fine too.
The advantage of being in the valley as long as we have is that we have tried and tested chefs, restaurants, take-out, delivery services and everything in between.
We know who will have the kids in fits of laughter, who can give you the best local skiing tips, which places to head to for the best on-mountain or après experience, and who will provide you with an all-out à la carte experience. In any case, the choice is yours; gone are the days of everyone eating at the chalet every night and heading to restaurants the same night of the week that everyone else is.
Hire your own professional chef
The ultimate in convenience, a professional chef will come to you at the chalet and take over the kitchen, the cooking and the clean-up afterwards. Our chef partners cover all tastes and diets, can provide wine options, and will offer flexibility to cater just a few nights or the whole week. Because the kitchen is separate, your chef can work away without disturbing you, so you get a restaurant feel at the chalet. We provide you with all the details on booking, and we’re on the end of the phone to help you sort out this crucial aspect of the holiday.
Have restaurant standard food delivered to the chalet
As well as restaurant takeaways in Morzine, some chefs we work with offer a food delivery service. So you get a delicious meal delivered to the chalet fridge while you’re out, to re-heat according to some instructions when you’re back, showered and ready for it. You can choose this for just one evening or all seven. Again, all tastes and diets can be catered for.
Afternoon tea
Who doesn’t love this, or earn it whilst on their active mountain holiday? An afternoon tea service can be arranged as part of a package with a private chef, or you can have it on its own if you are self-catering or having pre-prepared food delivered. We will give you all the details needed to arrange this as part of your stay.
Celebration cakes
Have a delicious, bespoke, home-made cake delivered to the chalet to help you celebrate a special birthday or anniversary, or have cupcakes or a tray bake as a treat. Whatever the occasion, our master cake decorator and baker can help you.
Dine out
Morzine has some terrific restaurants, and you might be delighted to know that the cuisine isn’t restricted to bread and cheese! You can still get an excellent traditional fondue, raclette, or tartiflette; you can try out some more contemporary pan-Asian style cooking, experience a hybrid of Asian-gastro mixed with traditional savoyarde ingredients, find good Italian pizza and pasta, as well as a delicious locally sourced steak.
Self-cater
Last, but by no means least, you can of course do your own cooking. The kitchen is well equipped enough for a professional chef to use it – some of them have even told us how easy it is to do so. There’s a good supermarket in town, a bigger one within a 15-minute drive, and a weekly local market is a great place to pick up local cheeses, meats and vegetables.
